Pattaya Beach
The main beach — turquoise water that looks photoshopped but isn't. Most resorts and restaurants. Longtail boats lined up on the sand. Gorgeous but gets busy December-March.

Sunrise Beach
East side, faces the sunrise (obviously). Best snorkeling straight off the beach. Quieter than Pattaya side. Walk across the island in 10 minutes. Some of the best-value beachfront stays.

Walking Street
A sandy path connecting the two beaches. Cheapest rooms, best food variety, bars. No beach view but 2 minutes from both beaches. The practical backpacker choice.

Local Tips
No ATMs on the island — bring enough cash for your entire stay.
High season (Dec-Mar) = book accommodation months ahead.
Sunrise Beach = best snorkeling. Sunset Beach = best sunsets. Pattaya Beach = most social.
Walking Street is the only real road — everything is within 10 minutes.
Longtail boats to nearby islands cost ฿100-300.
