Koh Kood
Thailand's untouched paradise — the real Maldives
About Koh Kood
Thailand's fourth-largest island yet remarkably undeveloped. Koh Kood has pristine beaches, bioluminescent plankton, jungle waterfalls, and the ultra-luxury Soneva Kiri resort. It's what people imagine when they think of a tropical island — and it actually delivers.

Where to Stay
2 areas in Koh Kood — each with a different vibe and price range
Klong Chao Beach
The main beach — soft white sand, clear water, a handful of resorts. Walk to Klong Chao waterfall. This is where most visitors stay and it's easy to see why. Still feels empty compared to anywhere else.
฿800–4,000/night
Ao Phrao / Bang Bao
Scattered bungalows on the less-developed south coast. Mangroves, fishing villages, total silence. Bring a book and zero plans. This is the most untouched corner of the Trat islands.
฿500–2,500/night
